About the Registry

A nurse registry connects clients with independent caregivers. The registry does not employ or supervise caregivers — we serve as the link between you and qualified care professionals.
We connect clients with independent caregivers based on their individual needs. Jabez Home Care facilitates referrals only — care is arranged directly between you and the caregiver.
No. We facilitate referrals only. The actual care services are arranged and delivered directly between the client and the independent caregiver.
No. Caregivers are independent contractors, not employees of Jabez Home Care. This means you, as the client or client's legal representative, are responsible for directing the caregiver's services.

Caregivers

Yes. All caregivers referred through Jabez Home Care must meet strict credentialing requirements:
  • Pass Level II background screening
  • Be CPR certified
  • Provide required health clearances

Caregivers referred through Jabez Home Care meet credentialing requirements, including background screening and verification of qualifications, in accordance with Florida regulations. Only caregivers who meet our standards are referred to clients.
Yes. We assist in facilitating referrals based on your preferences and caregiver availability. Final arrangements are made directly between you and the caregiver.
Yes. If you are not satisfied with your current caregiver, you may request a new caregiver referral at any time, subject to availability.
The client or the client's legal representative is responsible for directing the caregiver's services. Jabez Home Care does not supervise or control caregivers, as they are independent contractors.
Caregivers are not permitted to transport clients in their personal vehicles. They may accompany clients for support purposes only when travelling in the client's vehicle.
Transportation in a caregiver's personal vehicle is strictly prohibited. If transportation assistance is needed, please arrange alternative transport.

Services

Timeframes vary based on caregiver availability. We work to match you with a qualified caregiver as quickly as possible. Contact us to discuss your specific timeline and needs.
Registered Nurses may be referred upon request, subject to availability. Services are arranged directly between the client and the independent caregiver and may involve additional cost.
Yes. Clients may discontinue services at any time. You are only responsible for services already provided.

Process & Logistics

EVV is a system used to verify service visits for Medicaid-authorized services. Caregivers and clients must ensure visits are accurately recorded when required to maintain compliance and ensure proper billing.
Jabez Home Care is not an emergency service provider. In the case of a medical emergency, call 911 immediately or go to the nearest hospital.
Always call 911 in a life-threatening situation. Do not wait for caregiver or registry support during emergencies.
